Restaurateurs

Mary-Catherine Deibel & Deborah Hughes
UpStairs on the Square
You will find Deborah and Mary-Catherine mostly at the door and in and out of the kitchen of UpStairs on the Square-the Harvard Square gem known for its charming pastel colored walls and cozy fireplaces as much as for its exquisite seasonal menu and knowledgeable staff. LifeSavor began in the dining room of UpStairs on the Pudding, the restaurant's earlier incarnation. Since then, Deborah and Mary-Catherine have generously supported Community Servings by wowing LifeSavor diners, hosting fundraisers, providing our food service job trainees with tours of a restaurant kitchen in action, donating and delivering pies for Pie in the Sky, and serving on our Board of Mentors (Deborah) and Board of Directors (Mary-Catherine).

Pie Sellers / Table Captains

Sara Rosenfeld
Pie in the Sky Committee Co-chair
Sara has been involved with Pie in the Sky since its inception in 1993 and served as a committee member since 1995. 2009 marks her first year as one of the committee's three co-chairs. She loves how the sale is a great opportunity for her colleagues to connect with their spheres of influence for a good cause at a traditionally less busy time of year. Sara admires Community Servings for "...its mission, people, vision, growth and amazing programs. It has been an honor to be a part of such a thriving organization that gives so much to people in need."

Sponsors

UniGraphic
Since 2006, UniGraphic has donated pro-bono printing services for Pie in the Sky. This generous contribution helps Community Servings keep the event's fundraising costs below 10% -- and the vibrant quality of the marketing materials helps ensure the sale's success.
