Gordon & Fiona Hamersley
Hamersley's Bistro The roast chicken with garlic, lemon, and parsley at the South End's Hamersley's Bistro is high on the list of Boston culinary experiences. In May 2009, the Boston Globe heralded the dish as "miraculous ... the perfect roast bird you cannot replicate at home. Ever." To this day, Gordon-a James Beard Best Chef-often supervises the dish's preparation, clad in his signature Boston Red Sox cap. Since 1993, LifeSavor diners have been treated to Gordon and Fiona's hospitality while savoring that roast chicken and all of Hamersley's Bistro's soulful fare.

In addition to captaining a table at LifeSavor -- which entails recruiting up to nine friends to purchase tickets for the event -- Heather also serves as a co-chair for the Silent Auction committee. A former Community Servings' staff member, we are so lucky that Heather continues to help us as a volunteer. And we are even more lucky to call her a friend.
